Steve's on the Square opened in downtown Philadelphia, Mississippi in 1983. As a leader in men's and women's fashions across the state of Mississippi, we take pride in treating our customers like family. For over 40 years we have built our business on excellent customer service and merchandising of moderdate to better brands. Recently Mississippi Magazine, in its "Mississippi Best Of" edition, named Steve's on the Square as the "Best Men's High End Apparel" in the state. Steve's on the Square was also recongized as one of the top five stores in the state in three other categories.

In April 2022, Steve retired after a dedicated 39 years of business and sold Steve's on the Square to two long time employees, Tony Alexander and Amanda Richardson. With little to no change, these two will continue to run the store with the same foundation and legacy that Steve's on the Square is known for.
